Job description

At Shandong Head Europe, there is no rigid hierarchy. Your own initiatives can be applied directly to achieve fast results. Together with your colleagues, you determine the strategy. First and foremost, as an account manager you know exactly what your customer wants, and what needs to be done to acquire new customers. You will be responsible for the whole process from the initial contact to maintaining a long term business relationship.

Your job

  • The mapping of prospects and market sectors
  • Developing a tactical and strategic plan to approach these prospects
  • Actively acquire new customers
  • Building a business relationship with your customers
  • Give advice to prospects and existing customers

As an Account Manager, you work from our office in Houten as an "independent entrepreneur" in the European market. Within your area of work, you are responsible for generating new business and building your own network. Shandong Head also has plenty of room for creative initiatives that aid the sales of the entire team. You will sell to the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical sector. Our customers are located across Europe and you will soon visit customers, conferences and exhibitions abroad.

What we expect

  • Minimum Bachelor (HBO) level of working and thinking
  • 3 years of comparable work experience preferred
  • You have experience with long-term sales trajectories
  • Near fluent comprehension of the English language
  • Comprehension of additional European languages is a plus
  • In possession of driving license B

You will work in a young team (24-36 years) in which collegiality is very important. In addition to working hard, we enjoy a good laugh and regular trips are organized.
